What type of crime is most damaging to our country? Is street crime more damaging than corporate crime? A small amount of money is usually taken when a street crime occurs and a large sum of money is taken in a corporate crime. One individual or a group usually will commit a street crime while a corporate crime is driven by a group or number of individuals. The street crimes effect on the country is little in value of money but is really dangerous on the tourism industry. It could drive potential tourists away because of the number of street crimes. A corporate crime can be a potential damage to the country especially if it involves economic sabotage.
Street crime is a crime that is transpired in the street and committed by someone that is inclined to violate the law. A street crime includes a person that is pick pocketing or could even include a bank robbery even though a robber may get a huge amount of money.
A corporate crime is usually committed by a corporation or a officer and the employees and is more complicated crime than street crime. The weight of the crime is huge and vastly damaging. A corporate crime is usually well structured and more dangerous because it usually will have more linkages to it. It is also harder for a investigator to tie up or link evidence that is gathered from one point to another leaving a challenge for the investigator.
